Fees associated with your hospital stay

HOSPITAL FEE

We are a private day hospital, on the day of your procedure you will pay a hospital fee this amount will be determined by:

  • Private health insurance for hospital cover (if you have an EXCESS or CO-PAYMENT for day surgery, this will be payable)

  • A current Government issued health care card (green and yellow) or pensioner concession card (purple and blue).

DOCTORS FEE

For most patients, there is no gap for the Doctor’s account for your admission. However, at time of booking, you will be informed if a small fee does apply for your admission. More information is provided at time of booking.

ANAESTHETIST FEE

The majority of fully insured patients will have no out of pocket fees for their Anaesthetic, please talk to our staff to find our which lists provide a no gap service.  At the time of your booking you will be provided with the contact information for your anaesthetist. Please call them directly to be informed of any financial obligations.

PATHOLOGY FEE

This is covered by your health fund or Medicare. You do not pay any out of pocket fees for any pathology that may be taken.
